Patryk Roman is a cinematographer based in Warsaw, Poland. While primarily focused on narrative filmmaking, his work also spans music videos, commercials and documentaries. He is currently finishing cinematography studies at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School, where he has shot over fifteen short films.

Short film „Dad’s Not Home”, directed by Jan Saczek, won Gold at the 2025 Student Academy Awards and made the 2026 Academy Awards shortlist. Another Saczek film, „Recess”, won the Manifest Award at Poitiers Film Festival and both Best Short and Audience Award at Austin Film Festival. His films have also earned a cinematography nomination at Watersprite Film Festival and screened at major events including Raindance, FPFF Gdynia, New Horizons and Bengaluru International Film Festival, among many more. Music videos he shot have earned awards and nominations at festivals like Student World Impact Festival, Duemila30 or PLMVA.

When working on a project, he likes to think of an image as a language — searching for one to precisely deliver the story.
